I had the opportunity to provide some tight sketches to character illustrators and background artists for sections in an updated Book of Mormon children’s reader for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. My sketches were done in grey values and red/blue line work. This helped the subsequent artists build their scenes quickly. I love seeing how the final full-color pieces turned out.
My website contains freelance work for the most part, but I thought it would be fitting to share a collage of favorite projects from my full-time job at Destination Homes. I started working there right out of collage in 2002 and for the last decade or so have been their Marketing Director. This chapter is coming to a close in October 2023 and I’ll be off to another venture.
This is a collection inspired by my kids and some of their cousins that have decided to earn money this summer by cleaning out trash cans. It was so fun to go back and pull inspiration from the Garbage Pail Kids of my childhood days.
